Technically, yes, relationships usually start because of intervention, and not always by the two main parties. Let's face it, most people like to see a happy ending for any two people who are obviously attracted to each other. I name numerous romantic comedies as my source. Thus, ANY social organization, nay, even groups of friends would definitely have some effect on the ultimate outcome.
