Poetry is an inexact science,
How many words to each line?
How many lines to each thought?
Should there be rhythm?
Must there be beat?
Short. Curt. Strokes.
Or words marching along the space of the poem endlessly......
Do we rhyme?
Now, wouldn't that be sublime?
Does it matter what I say?
How I punctuate. And how; I, spacemywords?
Must there be a set
way for me to align
my words?
Should I be prim, and pRoPeR?
And neat in my @#$!%^ language?
Can I say ANYTHING? Or maybe just ....
Do I gotta be speeling right? Do my grammers is important?
Yes. Poetry is an inexact science.
For that matter. It's not science.
It's an inexact art.
