I haven't done many long blogs in a while. Well, perhaps it's time to do an update. Starting with yesterday... or rather early this morning....spent the night riding around the eastern part of Singapore looking for somewhere that WASN'T raining. So first we hit Changi Airport and settled largely at Deli France in T1 playing some stupid but highly entertaining version of Tai-di (or Big 2) until Khaiwei left. And then there were 4. We tried the normal version of the game, but it wasn't as fun, so we tried to teach Vivien how to play Bridge, but I think the poor girl's more confused about the rules of the game now. Anyhow, following about 3 games of that, we were all FREEZING, and decided to hit a beach. Pasir Ris was first, but the guys wanted to watch the sun rise, and Changi would've been more east (according to them, don't ask me, I'm geographically impaired). There was some reluctance on the part of Vivien, not helped by the fact that Greg said Changi Beach was haunted and darker than Pasir Ris. Basically, it became my call, and although I AM very leery of the supernatural, I thought there wouldn't be much harm since it was close to 6.

We sat at Changi Beach, the sea breeze blowing in our faces. Vivi was having a stomachache at the moment, and we were worried about her, and Greg (once again) did not help matters by telling her the possible horrible things that could be happening to her. I told him he should never be a social worker, he'd make people feel worse. The sun rose... or rather, the sky brightened. Technically, I've still not watched the sun rise, because there was no sun at alll to be seen. It was blocked largely by the Ferry Terminal and lots and lots of clouds. Still, the wash of colours on the sky was truly spectacular against the white cloud formation.

Vivi went home first, understandably... then the rest of us headed to White Sands for breakfast. By then I was so tired I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to wake up if I ever closed my eyes. But surprisingly it took a while before I was able to fall into a deep sleep by the time I reached home. I assume it was all the caffeine.

Well, that's done. In other news, a cousin of mine got married, I'm being wooed/chased by my friend's OGL from SRJC (don't ask me how it happened, I'm not quite sure myself), Chinese New Year came, I collected hongbaos. Quite a good sum this year. Hmm. Should do some more visiting, heh heh.

I think that's all. Will rant some more next time. Possibly about television again. Or male chauvenist pigs. Basically whatever pisses me off... Which makes sense, doesn't it....?
