This is funny. I was reading it just now because I had nothing better to do, and only got about one third way through before I threw my hands up in exasperation of the trivial things they argue about. Oh, spoiler there, but tis interesting still. Very human. Oh, so very human behaviour. I can relate.

I saw Gangs of New York today. Good action. Lots of action in fact. Not withstanding the fact that Leonardo Dicaprio looks like shite here, it was quite a good show. I don't say very good, because it was tres draggy and long. (read: 2 hr 45 min long movie) But then, the Two Towers beats it hands down with 3 hrs, and I thought THAT was pretty good, so who am I to complain? Cameron Diaz was gorgeous in this. The ending was quite satisfying, and the performance by the actor who plays Bill Cuttings (I think that's his name...) was really good. Interesting film.

I've been offered the post of house i/c for the next freshmen orientation camp, and I'm pretty excited about that, because it's the first time I've done anything like that. It should be very..... interesting. Considering they need loud and exciting people. Of which, I am not, most of the time, unless inebriated. Then again, I'm just loud when inebriated. The excitement's only from other people wondering what stupid thing I'll say next. But never mind. The one redeeming factor is that I know I'll be older than most of them, which gives me a sense of power... and... well. haha... that is highly essential in my manipulation of them. For my part, of course. I need to be psyched up to do this kinda thing.
