Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

Hm. Well, considering the top two highest matches were Galadriel and Aragorn, should I be surprised?

oh yeah, baby, yeah. I missed you!

Here's the end of my computer crisis saga. Downloaded the driver update for my modem and now everythings a-ok. At least until the next win update. Cheers!

Same rant, different place.
Laptop problem. Broadband cannot be used - system becomes unstable after about 10, 15 mins.
Error problem: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Visted by blue screen of doom.

Problem solvers will be richly rewarded with everlasting gratitude or currency of choice (negotiable). If you think you can help me out, just message me. chelagi@singnet.com.sg

As I foresee this to be a hands-on project, don't attempt to tell me how to debug my com via email because I can't and I won't because I don't know how.

I hope not to have to visit the NUS service center again because they reformat without warning and take a disgustingly long time to do even that.

When you're a huge company, it's easy to screw small computers. ARGH. There's a problem with my com again, and it's because of Microsoft's updates. It's like waiting for the shoe to drop everytime I log on... Don't even know when my com will crash AGAIN.

Just got home from dinner with the gang. One of my gangs. Azmi, Chuanmu, Huishan, Greg, Joel, Songyu and last but not least, Xuzi. Dinner was at Fish and Co... And, I don't know if it's the place or what, but so far I've been eating lots of cake at Dhoby Ghaut. Got two cakes, for which I'm really grateful. Thanks guys. Thank you thank you thank you. I have a polaroid of me looking extremely embarrassed...

We did not play bridge until I was happy, although we played quite a few rounds of taidi where I trashed them all. Bwahahaha. I loved it. It was truly a great day. These few days have been fantastic. *blows kisses* Thanks everyone. Thank you thank you thank you!

And still, NO ONE has given me the black pens I asked for!!

Okay. That's it. I'm no longer a teenager. Oh, more thanksgiving. Thanks Lyndon, for the call. Appreciated it greatly, of course! Thanks for the SMS, and the message on friendster, Jiahoe... I'm surprised you remember/know when my birthday is/was. Or maybe you're just really good at remembering everyone's birthday... Don't know... have never obtained second opinion... =)

Happy birthday, me.

Had a nice day today.

I'd like to thank Cheryl, Neltje, Sunshine, and whoever else was involved with the ice-cream cake I got. It was a lovely surprise. Very touching. I shall never forget it. Really!

I'd also like to thank my family for dinner at Jack's place. The food was a little below expectations, but ah, well, the company was good enough.

And I'd like to thank Jason for calling me from Australia to wish me Happy Birthday. It really made my day. Well... in that I was blissfully surprised. Thanks, man.

And of course, I'd like to thank God for such a wonderful day. Hope more like this will come.

There's been not much excitement to speak of recently, but I've decided to include a wish-list here, shameless person that I am.

Basically, I'll be happy to receive anything practical. Whatever that's wearable, eatable, useable. Non-practical gifts will only be appreciated from best friends or boyfriends. Non-practical gifts include but are not limited to stuffed toys, porcelain figurines, paper weights, flowers. While I do like (in fact enjoy) some of the stuff on that list, if I receive them from someone who does not fall under category of best-friend or boyfriend, I will assume you that you are angling for one of the positions and will respond accordingly to the giver. Responses range from disbelieving repulsion to appreciative adoration of the highest order. You have been warned.

Happy Wednesday, everyone.

It's really quite interesting what RGS girls get up to these days... but I'm just old, I guess. I find reading my cousin's blog very refreshing. I wish I had some kind of life like that. Well, when I blog 4 times on the same day you know I'm bored.

With edits...And, you know what? There's an actual League of Losers out there. How um... sad. Is that a compliment?

"LOL 11/9/2002
Join the league of losers (LOL) today!

Is your life screwed? Do you do stupid things that earn you the title of "Loser" from people around you? Do you sometimes wish you could do whatever you wanted without being shamed?

Our league promises the fulfilment every idiotic dream you had, and a chance to be among your brethren losers. We will not judge you for your past mistakes, or your fallacies! Rather, we applaud your brave effort to stand up and shout, "I AM A LOSER!"

Here at the League of Losers, we wear our labels proudly, as we at LOL know that it takes a special breed of people to qualify as losers. Each year, we reward our members for doing stupid things by holding our "Greatest Loser of the Year" contest, where participants compete in telling of their most shameful, gut-wrenchingly embarrassing moments of loss. There are several other sub-contests involved in this event, such as the Ugly Contest and the Three-legged Backwards Race.

Membership is free, although members are required to purchase, at a small free, a badge proclaiming them losers. This badge allows you a 5% discount at all outlets, stores or shops owned by other losers like yourself. We at LOL believe in sharing good fortune. Furthermore, each member is virtually guaranteed a place at the Annual Grass Growing Watchers Convention!

What's more? If you join the LOL today, you stand a chance to apply for the prestigious position in the Administration. You will be tasked to organise sufficiently inane events for the enjoyment of our members. The position of Chief Jester is also up for grabs. You will be required to plan, oversee, and judge the "Say-something-stupidly-original-day".

Hesitate no longer! Sign up, today! We can make your life that much sadder! Remember: We put the ‘lose’ in recluse!"

You know what? The copyright is to me too, I don't need permission to run it on my own blog, do I?

Alternatively it's found here, clearer, bigger, cleaner.

It's not true that guys keep asking me out. They don't. Very few of them have the guts to. (snigger) It's just that those that do usually are exceedingly persistant, like what you see there. And then I give in and go out with them because it boosts my ego to know someone's interested in me. Yes, I lead guys on. I'm sorry. I'm a terrible person, it's true. I only let them down when I know for sure they like me, and the feeling's not mutual. So there you have it. Just to clarify doubts.
